Nissan gets the iconic GT-R to India
This piece of news from the Auto Expo will surely be music to the ears of performance car enthusiasts. Japanese car maker Nissan has announced it will bring its iconic sports car GT-R to India.
The GT-R runs on a twin turbo 3.8 litre V6 petrol engine that gives a massive power of 550 PS. The sports car has an all-wheel drive system which makes it easier to drive the car in real world conditions. The GT-R will be launched in India by September this year.
Nissan also unveiled the new X-trail hybrid at the Auto Expo. India is the fourth market to see the hybrid version of the X-trail but the actual launch is still almost a year away. The car runs on a 2.0 litre Petrol engine along with a 31 Kw electric motor. Due to a dual clutch system on the car, even the high speed situations, the car is able to give good fuel efficiency.
