The new Hybrid Prius comes to India
Toyota showed its fourth generation Toyota Prius at the Auto Expo 2016. The new Prius is about 15 mm wider, 60 mm longer and 20 mm lower compared to the previous generation car. A sharp and sleep looking car, Toyota has given a lot of attention to detail. The boomerang-shaped projector headlamps along with the triangular fog lamps give it an extremely stylish front look.
The new Prius is a hybrid which comes with petrol as well as an electric motor. The 1.8 litre petrol engine can generate 97.8 bhp and a max torque of 142NM. The electric motor, on the other hand, can produce 73 bhp of power. It has an impressive boot space with a capacity of 502 litres.
