2016 Honda Accord
Honda has unveiled the latest iteration of their flagship sedan – the 2016 Honda Accord, at the Auto Expo 2016. In its ninth generation globally, the 2016 Accord looks almost like a concept car.
The typical chrome splashed Honda front grille is flanked by swept back LED headlamps. The front bumper is more aggressive than ever with the black mesh grille, air curtain and LED fog lamps.
On the side, the Accord retains its stately proportions – a long hood, spacious twin cabs and a roofline that flows into the humungous boot.
The tail also gets generous amount of chrome for the premium look. It gets all new LED tail lamps and a chrome exhaust tip.
The interior is two-tone – beige and black – with glossy wooden panels on the dashboard. Needless to mention, but the leather upholstery and the spacious cabin feel luxurious.
The Accord gets a dual-zone AC with vents for the rear passenger, push-button start, cruise control that can be controlled from the steering like the 2-Din audio system. Yes, it has touch-screen too.
The Honda Accord gets a host of safety features like ABS, ESP, traction control and Airbags to take care of the occupants. You also get parking sensors and an economy mode.
It continues to get the 2.4-litre i-Vtec inline four cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to an automatic torque converter transmission.
