Huawei’s first full-metal and much anticipated smartphone, the Honor 5X is set to release on 28 January.
Huawei are sending out invites that say “Faster Better Stronger,” hinting at the soon-to-be-launched Huawei Honor 5X. The smartphone is anticipated to be launched in India on 28th January and it will be Huawei first phone to feature a metallic body.
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch fully laminated IPS display with a Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and a 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card).
The Huawei Honor 5X will run on Android 5.1 skinned with Emotion UI 3.1 that will be powered by a 3000mAh battery which should give you about a day of mixed usage. the Phone will also integrate quick charge 3.0 technology and a fingerprint scanner. The phone will also support nano-SIM and micro-SIM.
The phone will be available in White, Gold and Grey and is expected to be sold on Flipkart through the first week of February after which it should come to all retail stores and e-commerce portals.
The Huawei Honor 5X should be priced around Rs 15,000 in India.
