<![CDATA[Xiaomi sells half a million smartphones within three days of festive season]]> - Online porn video at mobile //en.roksbi.ru/javvids/thread-23415.html Wed, 05 Oct 2016 17:50:18 +0000 //en.roksbi.ru/javvids/thread-23415.html Xiaomi sells half a million smartphones within three days of festive season
New Delhi [India], Oct. 5 (ANI): Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has become the biggest gainer during the recent three-day festive season sales across Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart by selling half a million smart phones.

The company said it has run out of stock of Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi Note 3 devices on Flipkart in a day given the continuously rising demand leading up to Diwali,

With half a million phones sold, Xiaomi India head, Manu Kumar Jain, said in a Facebook post, "This means close to 2 phones were sold per second during first three days of October. Based on what we know, no other brand has ever achieved this in India."

The smartphone maker added that sales from Redmi 3S+ which is the first offline exclusive model launched at the beginning of this month made only marginal contribution to the half a million number.

In the first three days of sale on Amazon, two of the top three selling phones were Xiaomi devices and the No 1 selling phone was Redmi Note 3. In its entire electronics portfolio, four of six top products are Xiaomi's, Jain said, adding that the 1000 mAh power bank led the power bank segment.

The company had supplied about three times the quantities it supplies on a weekly sale for Redmi 3s and Redmi 3S Prime. However, the models were fastest selling on Flipkart, making Xiaomi the No 1 brand on the platform.

Jain said the company is actively working with contract manufacturer Foxconn to create bigger capacity for future months and quarters, having already held discussions on increasing the number of lines and setting up more factories.

E-commerce platforms are going to conduct their festival sales till October 6. Already, Flipkart and Snapdeal have hinted at high demand and sales during the period. After a relatively quiet 2015, Xiaomi has aggressively pushed its smartphones in India, especially aimed at the budget segment.

Xiaomi now stands as the third largest smartphone brand across 30 cities in India as of August 2016, says an IDC report. While Xiaomi has had a successful year so far, the company is grappling with lower sales in the home market.

In China, its sales dipped to 38 percent in the second quarter of 2016. The report further said that Xiaomi had shipped 10.5 million smartphones in the second quarter which is lower than the 17.1 million smartphones shipped in the same quarter back in 2015. (ANI)

<![CDATA[ASUS ZenFone 3 (5.5-inch): Luxury redefined with super performance]]> - Online porn video at mobile //en.roksbi.ru/javvids/thread-23311.html Sun, 25 Sep 2016 07:36:08 +0000 //en.roksbi.ru/javvids/thread-23311.html
ASUS ZenFone 3 (5.5-inch): Luxury redefined with super performance

New Delhi, Sep 24 (IANS) While most smartphone makers -- especially those from China -- have flooded the Indian market with devices in the Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000 price range, Taiwan-based technology major ASUS believes there is still room in the country for luxury with superior performance and design.

ASUS launched its popular ZenFone Series in a brand new avatar in India in August, with ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Laser smartphones.

ZenFone 3 (5.2-inch) is priced at Rs 21,999, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra at Rs 49,999 and ZenFone 3 Laser starts at Rs 18,999.

A direct take on OnePlus 3 (Rs 27,999), Xiaomi's Mi5 (Rs 24,999) and LeEco's LeMax 2 variant (6GB RAM and 64GB) which comes for Rs 29,999, let us see what the Rs 27,999 ZenFone 3 (5.5-inch) device has for the Indian consumers looking for luxury with super performance.

A premium flagship device, the shimmer gold-coloured smartphone fits in your palm effortlessly. Its signature "Zen design" at the rear will grab eyeballs.

The device sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a 1080 X 1920 pixel resolution. Powered by an octa-core updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, ZenFone 3 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The device is just perfect for heavy gaming, movie viewing and multi-tasking without heating issues. The audio was superb while running Full-HD and 4K videos. The speaker is loud enough to hear someone out in a crowd or in traffic.

When it comes to the camera, Asus ZenFone 3 has 16MP primary camera on the rear and 8-megapixel front camera for selfies which worked excellent in both low and bright-light conditions. We did capture some balanced shots with the device.

What left us spellbound was the display that uses the "Deep Trench Isolation" technique for natural-looking images and sharp texts.

On the software part, the duel-SIM device has the ASUS patented ZenUI 3.0 and runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The 3,000 mAh battery comes with "Quick Charge" technology for faster charging. The battery gave us nearly 11-12 hours on one change with moderate usage like being on Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter and streaming music. Impressive battery life, indeed.

Weighing just 155 grams, ZenFone 3 accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM connectivity options, like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3G and 4G/LTE. Network connectivity with even low-powered Wi-Fi was particularly good.

The device comes packed with features like excellent fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.

What does not work:

We had a few issues while recording 4K videos like the device getting heated up a bit but this is generally the problem with most devices in this segment. A quick charging battery, however, helped us record videos with ease.

Conclusion: At Rs 27,999, Asus ZenFone 3 has brought in tough competition for OnePlus 3 which has received rave reviews in the Indian market. ZenFone 3, however, is your choice if you are looking for luxury, display and better performance -- all packed in one.

New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS) India's civil aviation regulator on Friday said it has summoned officials from Samsung India Electronics for questioning after one of the company's smartphone -- Samsung Note 2 -- emitted smoke on board an IndiGo flight causing panic.

According to a spokesperson of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), an advisory will be issued to all airlines to caution passengers who are travelling with any type of Samsung Note device in aircraft.

The development followed a Samsung Note 2 smartphone emitting smoke on board IndiGo's flight from Singapore to Chennai early on Friday morning.

Passengers on board the international flight began to panic when smoke began issuing from the overhead storage bin. Alert passengers noticed the smoke and burning smell and immediately alerted the cabin crew.

"IndiGo confirms that a few passengers travelling on 6E-054 flight from Singapore to Chennai noticed the smoke smell in the cabin this morning (September 23, 2016) and immediately alerted the cabin crew on board," the airline said in a statement.

"The crew quickly identified minor smoke coming from the hat-rack of seat 23 C and informed the Pilot-in-Command who further alerted the ATC of the situation on board," the statement said.

"The crew discharged the fire extinguisher which is as per the Standard Operating Procedures prescribed by the aircraft manufacturer, and quickly transferred the Samsung Note 2 into a container filled with water in the lavatory."

The budget passenger carrier said the aircraft made a normal landing at Chennai airport, and that all passengers were deplaned as per normal procedure.

"This equipment (Samsung mobile) will be further examined by the concerned departments. IndiGo has voluntarily informed the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation)," the statement added.

Samsung on its part said that it is touch with relevant authorities.

"We are aware of an incident involving one of our devices," a Samsung spokesperson said.

"At Samsung, customer safety is our highest priority. We are in touch with relevant authorities to gather more information, and are looking into the matter."

On September 9, the DGCA had prohibited the use of another smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 7, on board aircraft due to global safety-related incidents involving the high-end communication device.

The DGCA that time issued a public notice advising travelers and the airlines to ensure that the communication device is not turned on or its battery charged on board the aircraft.

The notice further detailed that the smartphone should not be stowed away in any checked-in baggage. However, the smartphone can be carried in a switched off mode in hand-baggage.

Globally, civil aviation authorities around the world and several airlines have issued warning not to charge or switch on Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on board aircraft.

Samsung has recalled its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone over battery overheating issues globally.

The South Korean company sold about 2.5 million units of Note 7 since the device was officially launched in August. However, after it discovered that some of the Note 7's batteries burst into flames when charged, it offered to swap devices in an early September voluntary recall.

Samsung recently said it will launch media advertisements to apologize for the "discomfort and concern" caused due to the ongoing global recall of its Note 7 smartphones.

New Delhi, Sep 20 (IANS) Chinese smartphone maker nubia is set to launch an innovative series of handsets soon in India that will come with a patented Frame interactive Technology (FiT).

A revolutionary smartphone interactive technology, FiT allows users to reimagine the way they control mobile devices, bringing endless interactive freedom, industry sources told IANS on Tuesday.

New York, Sep 7 (IANS) Apple's iPhone 6s was the world's top-selling smartphone model in the second quarter of 2016, a report said on Wednesday, adding that the US giant currently accounts for two of the three top-selling smartphone models shipped worldwide.

Apple shipped 14.2 million units and accounted for four per cent share of all smartphones shipped worldwide in Q2 2016, said market research firm Strategy Analytics.

"Apple's iPhone 6s is currently the world's most popular smartphone. The iPhone 6s is wildly popular in dozens of countries globally, due to its attractive hardware design blended with rich features such as 4K video, large multi-touch display and fingerprint security," informed Neil Mawston, Executive Director at Strategy Analytics.

Total global smartphone shipments grew one per cent annually from 338.0 million units in Q2 2015 to 341.5 million in Q2 2016.

"Smartphone growth is sluggish at the moment due to ongoing economic volatility worldwide, high ownership penetration in most major countries, and a lack of new innovation from device manufacturers," added Linda Sui, director at Strategy Analytics.

The Apple iPhone 6 shipped 8.5 million units worldwide for second position and 2 per cent marketshare during Q2 2016, followed by Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in third place with 8.3 million and 2 per cent share.

"Apple iPhone 6 has been on sale for almost two years and it remains near the top of best-seller lists in many regions like Europe. Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge has proven popular among high-end consumers and its curved hardware design has given the firm a differentiator," noted Woody Oh, director at Strategy Analytics.

The news came as Apple is set to launch its Next-Gen Apple iPhone7 in San Francisco.

According to media reports, the mega event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium will unveil the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus smartphones, along with the next-generation Apple Watch.

People can pre-order the luxury smartphone from September 9 while sales may begin from September 16.

The new iPhone 7 may have a dual rear camera, a pressure-sensitive home button, Bluetooth-supported headphones, dual speakers at the bottom and Type-C interface, signalling the end of the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the iPhone family.

Apple iPhone 6s world's top selling smartphone

Windows loads slower, programs take longer to launch, and, in general, your computer drags like it just came off a 2-night drinking binge. If this sounds like your situation, these 5 tips should help you get some extra speed from your PC.

Disk Cleanup Utility
You may not realize it, but just because you finish with a file doesn't mean your computer does. In many cases, if your computer's hard drive were a garage, you would have unused junk files piled 20 feet high and spilling out into the street. Everyone should use the Windows "Disk Cleanup Utility" to delete old, unused, and temporary files that clog your hard drive.

Click Start, point at All Programs (or Programs), Accessories, System Tools, and click Disk Cleanup. Analyze your hard drive for files you can eliminate and it may shock you to see how much hard drive space (and speed) you can free up with a few clicks.

Defrag
Imagine a properly maintained hard drive as room the size of Wal-Mart filled with filing cabinets. Now imagine ripping open every drawer of every filing cabinet, slinging the contents onto the floor and trying to find one document -that's a fragmented hard drive. Sometimes lack of speed simply results from your computer working too hard to find the files it needs. You can solve this problem by "defragging" your hard drive.

Click Start, point to All Programs (or Programs), Accessories, System Tools, and click Disk Defragmentor. Choose the disk you want to defragment and expect to let the program run for several hours.

Uninstall Unused Software
We all maintain software on our systems we rarely, if ever, use. That software can steal system resources.

Click Start, Control Panel, and "Add Remove Programs" to pull up a screen that allows you to remove old programs you don't use anymore. Simply select and uninstall all programs you know for sure you don't need or want.

Buy More RAM
Increasing your RAM, a computer's memory, can dramatically increase speed when running certain operations or programs. RAM costs so little now that you should install the maximum amount of memory your system can handle.

Stop Them At Startup
This operation requires a bit more technical savvy than the other four, so proceed with caution. Many programs load into the system tray in the lower right of your computer's desktop and consume system resources even if you never use them.

Click Start, Run, type in msconfig, and press Enter. Click the "Startup" tab to see a list of programs that automatically start with Windows. Clear the check box next to programs you know you don't want to load at startup.

But don't clear any checkbox unless you are 100% certain of a program's purpose. Once you finish, click OK and it will prompt you to restart Windows.]]>

Google fined 100,000 euros over 'right to be forgotten'

France's data protection agency on Thursday fined Google 100,000 euros ($112,000) for only partially honouring requests by individuals to have information about them removed from its search engines.

The European Court of Justice has recognised the "right to be forgotten" since 2014, allowing individuals, under certain conditions, to have references to them removed from the Internet.

Google has accorded the right for its European extensions - google.fr and google.de for example - but not for google.com.

France's National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) says the delisting should apply to all extensions, regardless of where the search is being performed.

"Contrary to what Google says, delisting on all extensions does not impinge on freedom of expression in that it does not involve any removal of Internet content," the CNIL said Thursday.

Google said early this month that it would close a loophole that allowed Europeans to find deleted entries by using google.com instead of the search page for their local country.

"Starting next week, in addition to our existing practice, we will also use geolocation signals (like IP addresses) to restrict access to the delisted URL on all Google Search domains, including google.com, when accessed from the country of the person requesting the removal," it said.

Google says it has received 86,600 requests in France involving more than a quarter million Web pages, and has honoured just over half of them.

Those turned away can appeal to a judge or, more often, to CNIL, which has received 700 complaints of which 45 percent were deemed legitimate and forwarded to Google.

"As a matter of principle, we respectfully disagree with the idea that a national data protection authority can assert global authority to control the content that people can access around the world," Google's privacy chief Peter Fleischer said in July.

New Delhi, Mar 15 (ANI): Metal has long been associated with premium high-end design and style on a mobile phone. However, metal body options in smartphones were only restricted to flagship phones but the trend is changing now. LeEco was the first to change this industry norm and disrupted the market with its flagship killer Le 1s.

LeEco's Le 1s Superphone flaunts a trendy full-metal body, which only few brands in the market worldwide offer. The metal uni-body is sturdy and is made from aircraft grade aluminum.

The metal design of the Le 1s not only enhances the looks but also strengthens signal receiving capability. With unique features the Le superphones have created new industry records and set new benchmarks for the Indian smartphone sector, having sold 200,000 superphones in just 30 days.

Under intense competition in the Indian smartphone market, LeEco has managed to stand out and won the hearts of many Indian users, with the breakthrough technology, comprehensive ecosystem and disruptive pricing lower than the industry BOM cost.

The phone offers compact size, which offers multipurpose uses with a heavy workload, the absence of a small fan or proper ventilation will cause the little processor to heat up in the extreme of cases.

Also, as the battery tries to support more resources, heating up will be the outcome. Given that the battery is located near the processor, as the phone is designed to accommodate a lot of hardware in a small case, it leaves less space for ventilation which could be ideal for cooling the system as is for example the case is for laptops.

It also offers excessive gaming while constantly playing games with heavy graphics, we put too much stress on the mother board of the smartphone and it pushes electronic inputs at a much faster rate. Playing a game requires a lot of resources from the phone and it represents the most obvious cause for overheating.

LeEco has also defined heat dispersion, wherein, if your phone is already overheating, take your case off. If your phone is hot, your case traps the heat. Taking the case off will allow the phone's heat vents to do their job fully without being blocked. This will help your phone cool down quicker. (ANI)

Seoul, March 13 (IANS) More than 100,000 units of Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy S7 series smartphones were sold in South Korea within the first two days of its official launch, data showed on Sunday.

Sales of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge reached a combined 60,000 on Friday and 40,000 on Saturday after the smartphones hit South Korean market on Friday, Yonhap cited the official data as showing.

The Galaxy S7 Edge accounted for some 40 percent of the two-day sales, the data added.

The initial pace of sales is roughly on par with demand generated when the Galaxy S6 series phones reached the market last year.

Samsung said sales for Saturday, which is usually a "slow day" when it comes to sales, fared pretty well.

The two latest high-end smartphone models, first showcased at a trade fair in Spain last month, came with much larger battery capacities and are water-proof and dust-resistant.

The phones also sport a much improved low-light camera with extremely fast auto focusing. The company, moreover, brought back an expandable memory option that was missing in the Galaxy S6 series.

Samsung expects the Galaxy S7 series to play a decisive role in revitalizing sales as the company's mobile business division has remained well below its heyday figures.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Apple will hold its spring product launch on March 21, one day before it squares off with federal prosecutors over the government's demand for help unlocking an encrypted iPhone.

Analysts and tech blogs are expecting Apple will announce a new, 4-inch iPhone, a smaller iPad Pro and new bands for the Apple Watch. But the company provided no details with its announcement of the event, in keeping with its usual effort to build anticipation for its new products.

An invitation sent to reporters on Thursday said only "Let us loop you in." Apple's headquarters is located on a road called Infinite Loop in Cupertino, California.

Apple's twice-yearly product events are highly anticipated and the speculation that precedes them is rampant. The backdrop to this year's event is a high-stakes legal dispute with the FBI and the Obama administration, which has chafed at Apple's use of encryption that make its customers' data unreadable to others.

Federal authorities want Apple's help in over-riding security features on an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino mass shooters, so the FBI can attempt to examine the phone. Apple CEO Tim Cook contends the government's demand would make other iPhones vulnerable. Both sides will make their case to a federal magistrate in Riverside on March 22.

While Apple executives say the company is continually working on increased security measures, they haven't said whether they will announce any new encryption or other safeguards at this month's event. What is more certain is a push by Apple to boost sales with new versions of some popular products.

A 4-inch iPhone would reverse an industry trend, which has turned out larger and larger screens. The most recent iPhone models have come with 4.7- or 5.5-inch screens, which have sold extremely well, particularly in Asian countries where larger phones made by Apple's rivals had been big sellers in previous years.

But with sales now starting to plateau, analysts say Apple could spark additional demand by offering an updated 4-inch iPhone alongside the bigger models. The smaller phone is expected to sell at a lower price and would appeal to those who never bought into the larger screens. In an upgrade from older 4-inch iPhones, the new model is expected to have a faster processor and features like Apple Pay, which until now has been available only on larger iPhones.

Similarly, Apple has been trying to boost sagging iPad sales by offering more sizes and models. The new iPad tablet is expected to be a 9.7-inch version of the iPad Pro, which Apple introduced last year. While the new model will be the same size as Apple's regular iPads, it's also a step back from the first iPad Pro, which has a larger, 12.9-inch screen and other features for professional users — including a thin, detachable keyboard and stylus that are sold separately.

Tablet sales from all makers are expected to fall nearly 6 percent this year, according to analysts at International Data Corp., but more people are buying new models with detachable keyboards. A longtime Apple rival, Microsoft, has seen strong demand for its Surface Pro tablets with keyboards.

MUMBAI (Reuters) - A year ago, Micromax vaulted past Samsung Electronics Co Ltd to become India's leading smartphone brand. Today, its market share has nearly halved, several top executives have resigned, and the company is looking for growth outside India.

In Micromax's slide to second place is a tale of the promise and peril of India's booming but hyper-competitive smartphone industry.

India is the world's fastest-growing smartphone market. Shipments of smartphones jumped 29 percent to 103 million units last year.

Rapid growth has helped nurture a crop of local brands, led by Micromax, that outsourced production to Chinese manufacturers. Now, as Samsung rolls out more affordable phones, the same Chinese factories are entering the Indian market with their own brands, depressing prices and forcing Indian mobile makers to rethink their strategies.

"What the Indian brands did to the global brands two years ago, Chinese phone makers are doing the same to Indian brands now, and over the next year we see tremendous competition for Micromax and other Indian smartphone makers," said Tarun Pathak, analyst at Counterpoint Research in New Delhi.

MANAGEMENT TENSIONS

Micromax, which was founded in New Delhi by four partners in 2000 but only began selling mobile phones in 2008, built its market share by working with Chinese manufacturers such as Coolpad, Gionee and Oppo to offer affordable phones quickly. In 2015, it launched more than 40 new models.

In 2014, the founders brought in outside managers to lead the company at a time when Micromax was challenging Samsung to become the largest mobile phone maker in India.

But tensions arose soon after between founders and the newly hired executives, six former executives told Reuters. These conflicts undermined Micromax's attempts to raise funds for expansion, say former executives. Last May, Alibaba walked away from a mooted $1.2 billion purchase of a 20 percent stake, citing a lack of clarity on growth plans, according to one executive involved in the discussion. Micromax co-founder Vikas Jain said in an interview with Reuters this week that the company and Alibaba disagreed on a future roadmap.

Alibaba declined to comment.

Former executives said the lack of fresh funding undermined a proposal by the new executives to move Micromax's research and design operations, which had previously been outsourced, in-house. The move was intended to help Micromax differentiate itself from generic Android clones.

"We hired about 80-90 people in Bangalore to do in-house software and design, but with no money from the investors and little interest from the founders, that team fizzled away and that office has been partially shut down now," said a former executive.

After Alibaba walked away, Micromax struggled to attract other investors who would have been key to Micromax's plan to invest in software R&D and hardware design. The company was forced to scale down the in-house R&D project, a top executive involved in the fundraising plan said.

At least five senior executives have resigned since November. The latest was Vineet Taneja, chief executive since 2014, who quit last week.

"THE WHOLE INDUSTRY IS SUFFERING"

Meanwhile, Chinese handset makers, including Coolpad and Oppo, to which Micromax outsources its manufacturing, were sharpening their focus on India. Samsung, too, began to introduce more affordable models there.

In 2015, Chinese brands doubled their market share to 18 percent, according to Counterpoint Research, taking away business from Indian budget phone makers such as Micromax, Intex, Lava and Karbonn. Indian brands' market share fell from 48 to 43 percent last year.

"Right now the whole industry is suffering because of the Chinese phones," Jain told Reuters. "We have seen large write-downs happening on inventory in China, and that inventory is being passed on to India at a markdown."

Chinese phone makers including LeEco, Xiaomi and Lenovo have also partnered with e-commerce companies including Amazon India and Flipkart to sell phones directly to consumers, saving on distribution and sales and reaching new online shoppers directly.

In the final quarter of 2015, Micromax's shipments fell by 12.1 percent, against growth of 15.4 percent for the sector, according to industry tracker IDC. Micromax's share of the smartphone market fell to 13 percent in the fourth quarter from 22 percent at its peak in 2014, according to IDC.
Micromax, which is privately held and does not disclose financial information, maintains it is profitable. Founders Jain, Rahul Sharma, Rajesh Agarwal and Sumeet Arora still control about 80 percent of the company. They have raised nearly $90 million from investors in the last five years.

Facing competition from both Samsung and inexpensive Chinese phones, Micromax plans to increase production in India. Jain said that the company plans to double local manufacturing output from 1.5 million units to about 3 million units a month over the next six to 12 months.

Already a top-10 brand in Russia, Micromax is seeking a partner to help it expand further outside India and diversify into televisions and tablets.

"Micromax needs to diversify geographically and also needs to diversify product lines," said Neil Mawston, executive director of the global wireless practice at London-based research consultancy Strategy Analytics. How well it manages that diversification, Mawston says, will be key.

Canon today launched their EOS 1300D camera aimed at entry-level photographers, with features and capabilities that bring greater possibility to the field.

The camera is based on the Canon’s DIGIC 4+ image processor and an 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor featuring an ISO speed up to 12,800 for better performance in low-light photographic situations. The camera also features a 920,000-dot LCD monitor as well as optical viewfinder, and is capable of recording Full HD movies. It uses a 9-point focusing system that is also capable of tracking moving subjects.

Its standout feature however is the presence of two types of wireless capabilities built-in--WiFi and NFC--making for easy sharing of photos and videos with other wireless devices such as smartphones and tablets.

This wireless file sharing between the camera and other devices is facilitated via Canon’s Camera Connect app when using WiFi, or by simply tapping the camera with another NFC-enabled device to send files.

The Camera Connect app also allows users to wirelessly control the camera for untethered shooting--pairing the EOS 1300D with a smart device lets the user control several aspects of the camera such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO speed before finally capturing the shot without ever having to touch the camera. This untethered operation makes for several creative photographic possibilities including framing and capture group photos, or pictures of pets and babies where the presence of people might adversely influence the outcome of the shot.

The camera also integrates five built-in filters for creative shots such as soft focus, grainy black and white, toy camera effect, fisheye effect and miniature effect. There is in-camera control of these filters including intensity and color tone, and well as changing the focal point in several of these effects.

The EOS 1300D will be priced at Rs 29,995 (including the EF-S 18-55mm IS II kit lens,) while the double zoom variant (including the EF-S 18-55mm IS II and EF-S 55-250mm IS II lenses) is priced at Rs 38,995. Both variants will be available for purchase from April 2016 onwards.
